APD: Missing Child Has Been Located

A missing child has been located by authorities, the Amarillo Police Department reported on Thursday.

According to APD, officers had been called to the 1000 block of North Hayes Street early on Thursday morning on the report of a missing 3-month-old child. The child, Jamila Franklin, had been left in custody of Aliyah Moore, 24, around 3PM during the previous day. When the parents returned, both Moore and Franklin were missing.

On Thursday morning, officers then reported that Franklin had been found unharmed. The investigation into the disappearance remains ongoing, APD reports.
