The City of Amarillo has named a new Director of Utilities.
On Tuesday, the City announced the hiring of Jonathan Gresham to be the new utilities head at the City. Gresham has served in the role in an interim capacity since last year. An Amarillo native, Gresham has also worked for the City of Dallas. Gresham holds degrees from Texas Tech University, including a Bachelor’s of Business Administration.
In a statement, Gresham said he is excited to join the City of Amarillo as the new official utilities head.
“I am honored and excited to have been named Director of Utilities for City of Amarillo,” Gresham said. “I have worked in this department for almost 20 years, and I look forward to the continued progress that will enable us to serve the residents of Amarillo with a quality water supply in a safe and efficient manner.”
