Local College Student Seeks to Help Amarillo Homeless

One Amarillo College student is bringing his idea to the public on how to help homeless individuals in Amarillo.

This week, Bryce Livingston launched a GoFundMe page, seeking donations to raise money to create shirts. Livingston says in his GoFundMe that funds raised through the sold shirts will be used to buy needed essentials for local homeless individuals, such as deodorants, soaps, and other hygiene products.

In the GoFundMe account, Livingston says he decided to get involved after he and his girlfriend met several homeless people last year. Since that meeting, Livingston has gone out of his way to provide food and other essentials to the same people he met, and hopes to get even more involved through this campaign.

Livingston’s GoFundMe has a total goal of $1,000.
