Amarillo High Beats Tascosa in Rivalry Game

The annual football battle between two local high schools took place on Friday night, with Amarillo High School getting the win.

On Friday, Tascosa High School and Amarillo High School squared off in the rivalry game at Dick Bivins Stadium in Amarillo. Tascosa scored early, but was unable to overcome an Amarillo High rally, leading the Sandies to a redeeming 28-21 victory over the Rebels.

Amarillo High got back in the win column for the rivalry after dropping a loss to Tascosa last year. Tascosa won that contest, 27-20.
