Representative Four Price will participate in a major public policy convention later this year.
On Wednesday, it was announced that Price will participate in a panel at the 2018 Texas Tribune Festival in Austin, Texas. Price will serve as a panelist in the Transforming Public Health panel at the convention on Saturday, September 29th. Price will serve on the panel with State Representative Garnet Coleman (D-Houston), former acting assistant secretary for health at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Karen DeSalvo, Forbes opinion editor Avik Roy, and Texas Medicaid director Stephanie Muth. The panel will be moderated by Marissa Evans.
In addition, the convention will feature some of the biggest names in Texas news and public policy. Some notable speakers and panelists at the convention will include Beto O'Rourke, former U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry, Senator Jeff Flake and others.
