Potter County Commission to Vote on Fireworks Ban

Members of the Potter County Commissioners Court will vote next week on approving a ban on fireworks.

According to an agenda posted for Monday's meeting, Commissioners are considering voting to approve a ban on fireworks in the unincorporated areas of the county. Currently, municipal bans are in place, but there bans do not cover areas that are outside of the limits of the county.

Additionally, Commissioners will consider approving a burn ban for unincorporated areas of the county. Commissioners will also vote on grant topics and chair replacements for the central jury room in Potter County.

The Commissioners Court will meet on Monday, June 11th in Room 106 of the Potter County Courthouse (500 S. Fillmore). The meeting will begin at 9am.
