Potter County Commissioners to Vote on Fireworks Ban

The Potter County Commissioners Court is set to vote on a ban or restricted sale of fireworks during their Monday meeting.

On Monday, the Potter County Commissioners will hear an item from Judge Nancy Tanner that would issue an order "prohibiting or restricting the sale of restricted fireworks" ahead of the July 4th holiday. An item regarding the legality of fireworks is often discussed prior to the July 4th holiday.

Also on the Commissioners' agenda, the Commission will discuss the process of appointing a County representative to the TIRZ #1 Board. The Commissioners will also discuss a proposed inter-government agreement and a job posting for Potter County's IT department.

The meeting will be held on Monday, May 22nd at the Potter County Courthouse (500 S. Fillmore). The meeting will begin at 9am.
