A Families Belong Together rally has been planned in Amarillo for next weekend.
According to MoveOn.org, a Families Belong Together rally will be held in Amarillo on Saturday, June 30th, as part of a national demonstration of rallies. The rallies, organized by MoveOn, the American Civil Liberties Union, the National Domestic Workers Alliance and the Leadership Conference, will protest families separations for immigrant families. The demonstrations will also address other actions taken by President Donald Trump on the issues of immigration, according to the website for the event.
The event in Amarillo will be held on June 30th, 9am, at Sanborn Park (1401 South Taylor).
