Amarillo Prayer Vigil Planned for Immigrant Children

A prayer vigil will be held this weekend for immigrant and refugee families.

According to an event on social media, local residents will gather at the Potter County Courthouse on Saturday, June 23rd to hold a prayer vigil. Those attending are encouraged to pray for immigrant and refugee children and their families.

The vigil will begin at 10:30am on Saturday. As of Wednesday, over eighty people had stated on Facebook that they would be attending the event or are interested in attending.
