The Greater Southwest Music Festival is in full swing at the Amarillo Civic Center.
On Thursday, the Greater Southwest Music Festival began at the Amarillo Civic Center, pitting the best student musicians in Amarillo head to head in competition. Students were crawling all over the Civic Center Friday as the bands prepared to do battle.
Buses for school districts across the area could be seen as students prepared to play for those in attendance.
