The outlaw has left the building.
On Friday morning, the Amarillo Pioneer learned that Kit Rudd has officially left Yellow City Community Outreach. Rudd, the well-known vice president of the organization, reportedly tendered his resignation from the group on Thursday.
When reached for comment, Rudd said that he chose to resign because he was tired of "all the controversy."
Rudd has served as an officer for Yellow City Community Outreach since its inception in 2015. Rudd made headlines when he rode his horse to Dallas, raising money for Yellow City Community Outreach. Rudd was also one of the leading voices advocating for the group's proposed tiny house project.
This resignation comes following another resignation by a YCCO officer earlier this week. Treasurer Tamara Warren resigned on Wednesday.
