Amarillo Police Arrest Three on Drug Charges

Amarillo Police arrested three people on drug charges on Monday.

According to the Amarillo Police Department, officers were dispatched to 18 Western Plaza early Monday morning on a trespassing report. A group of people were coming and going from a room in the hotel and were causing a disturbance.

Officers contacted Chad Walker, 44, Amanda Walker, 31, and Sidney Whiteley, 51. Officers were allowed into the room and observed what they believed to be methamphetamine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia in open view. Chad and Amanda Walker were arrested for Manufacture and Delivery of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group One Greater Than or Equal to 400 grams Possession of Marijuana over 4 ounces less but than 5 Pounds. Whiteley was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group One Over 1 gram but less than 4 grams

Each of the suspects were booked into the Potter County Detention Center.
