WTAMU Buffs Going to Final Four for First Time in Program History

The West Texas A&M University Buffs are headed to the NCAA Division II basketball Final Four for the first time in the program's history.

On Tuesday, the Buffs emerged from the Division II Elite Eight, after battling off the Le Moyne College Dolphins, 87-73. The win in Sioux Falls, marked the Buffs' second appearance in the Elite Eight since the inception of the program.

With a win over Le Moyne, the Buffs are now heading to the Final Four on Thursday night against the winner of the matchup between top-seeded Ferris State and Barry (Florida). If the Buffs emerge from the Thursday game, they will win a spot in the division championship game.
