Abbott Reappoints ANB Officer to State Board

Governor Greg Abbott has reappointed an Amarillo resident to a statewide board.

According to information from Governor Abbott's Office, Abbott reappointed Amarillo National Bank commercial loan officer Amy Henderson to the Governor's Commission for Women on Monday. Henderson, who was previously appointed to the board in 2016, was one of eleven members of the commission who were reappointed on Monday.

In addition to her role on the commission, Henderson is board member for the Amarillo Chamber of Commerce Business Council and WT Enterprise Center Advisory Board and Window on a Wider World. Henderson holds degrees from Amarillo College and West Texas A&M University.

The Governor's Commission for Women is tasked with promoting Texas as a top state for women-owned businesses, addressing human trafficking, and coordinating rebuilding efforts following Hurricane Harvey.
