Two people are now in custody after being charged with federal mail theft charges.
According to the Amarillo Police Department, detectives, benefiting from assistance by the U.S. Postal Inspection Service, investigated mail theft cases involving Christopher Garrett, 31, and Kerrie Ryan, 33. Both suspects were indicted on federal mail theft charges and placed under arrest on October 1st. Both suspects were booked into the Randall County Jail.
APD and U.S. Postal Inspectors are continuing to investigate mail and package thefts in Amarillo, officials say.
