Amarillo Women's March Included in National Map

A gathering of Amarillo residents has been named in a listing of marches and demonstrations that took place across the country over the weekend.

On Saturday, January 20th, Amarillo residents gathered at the Potter County Courthouse to hold a march and demonstration. The demonstration, organized by Indivisible Amarillo, was dubbed Amarillo's Women's March and coincided with various demonstrations that took place across the country.

In a new article from Vox, the demonstration in Amarillo was recognized as one of hundreds of similar events that took place across the country. In addition to being named as one of the demonstrations, experts quoted by the publication say Amarilloans who participated helped make up the total 4.2 million people who demonstrated on Saturday.
