A West Texas A&M University student has been named the recipient of a national marketing award.
Kimberly Hayes, an undergraduate marketing major, has been awarded the American Marketing Association's prestigious AMA-EBSCO Marketing Scholar Award. Hayes was awarded $2,000 in scholarship that will be paid to West Texas A&M University by the American Marketing Association.
Hayes holds an associate's degree in science/business administration with highest honors from Amarillo College. Hayes earned her G.E.D. in 2013.
Hayes was one of the 11,000 students who were eligible to apply for the award.
