WTAMU's Rausch Launches Confederate Statue Survey

West Texas A&M University professor Dave Rausch has launched a survey regarding the confederate statue in Ellwood Park.

In a new survey launched by Rausch, respondents are asked to respond to a series of questions regarding race relations in America, the job performance of President Donald Trump and the potential renaming of schools in Amarillo. Another question listed on Rausch's survey will ask respondents to deliver thoughts on the potential relocation of a confederate statue in Ellwood Park.

Respondents remain anonymous in the survey and are asked vague demographic questions, such as race and political affiliation.

Once Rausch's survey has been completed, he says that data will be made available for the Amarillo Independent School District board and the Amarillo City Council.

Rausch's survey can be found at wtamu.edu.
