The Tascosa Rebels rocked the Palo Duro Dons in the first game of the AISD 2017 football season.
Tascosa defeated the Dons, last night, 55-8. The game saw the Rebels stun the Dons in the first quarter and keep the pressure rolling through the entire game. The Dons were able to score eight points in the second quarter, but it was not enough to match the momentum the Rebels established early in the game.
With Ken Plunk at the helm, the Rebels sought to match the enthusiasm of last season, which saw the Rebels defeat the Dons in last year's opener.
The Rebels will be playing the Plainview Bulldogs at home next Friday.
