Weber State University's Payton Whitmore will be joining the West Texas A&M University Lady Buffs basketball team for the 2017-2018 season.
WTAMU announced the addition of Whitmore yesterday. Whitmore, a native of Mesa, Arizona, played for Weber as a freshman. She saw action in 17 games.
Prior to playing for Weber, Whitmore played at Hamilton High School where she was part of the 5A State Championship winning team.
Whitmore is the seventh overall addition for WTAMU's 2017-2018 season.
