APD Recovers Stolen Property in North Amarillo

The Amarillo Police Department has recovered stolen property in North Amarillo.

On June 6th, an officer observed a white trailer in the 1000 block of Woodland. The officer checked the license plate and found that the trailer was stolen. The Panhandle Auto Burglary and Theft Unit was called to assist.

A search warrant was issued and four trailers, three welders, and two ATV's valued at $23,000 were recovered by the PABTU with assistance from APD officers.

The majority of items were returned to their owners. APD reports that the items were reported stolen to a variety of entities including APD, the Potter County Sheriff's Office and the Randall County Sheriff's Office.
