AC to Add Robinson, Squyres to Communication Hall of Fame

Amarillo College is planning to add two alumni to its Mass Communications Hall of Fame.

AC announced that it will be inducting Buddy Squyres and Dale Robinson to its Mass Communications Hall of Fame on Thursday, June 29th. The ceremony will be conducted in the Panhandle PBS Studio on the Amarillo College Washington Street Campus.

Robinson and Squyres worked for decades together as production coordinators for KACV-TV (Panhandle PBS). The two created award-winning documentaries, television series, special projects and live programming. Robinson and Squyers were influential in passing on their knowledge to students at Amarillo College. Robinson passed away in 2013.

Marcie Cleland Robinson, a speech instructor at Amarillo College, will accept the award on behalf of her late-husband. Squyres will be on hand to accept his award.

The duo will join a slew of influential Amarillo College alumni in the hall of fame.
