U.S. Senator Ted Cruz has a lookalike and they officially met at his office this week.
Cruz posted a photo on Facebook showing him meeting with Chicago Cubs owner Tom Ricketts at Cruz's office. Ricketts has been labeled by social media as being a lookalike of Senator Cruz's beginning in April of 2016.
Cruz and Ricketts met and wore Chicago Cubs rings in front of the Commissioner's Trophy. Cruz put out a statement on Facebook with the photo, saying, "Great to host Tom Ricketts. Congrats on the World Series. (Should have been the Astros!) For some reason, people keep insulting Tom by saying he looks like me. Poor guy."
