Local Democrats will hear from attorney Jeff Blackburn tonight during their monthly meeting.
Blackburn, a well-known local attorney, will be speaking on the subject of criminal justice under President Donald Trump. Blackburn is a well-known expert on local criminal justice and made headlines for suing the City of Amarillo in 2016 over the municipal court system.
Blackburn was also a nominee for the Amarillo Pioneer's 2016 Pioneer of the Year award.
Tonight's meeting will begin at 7pm at the Pipefitters Union Hall at 1505 W. 7th Ave.
