Moselle Ford, retired associate professor of English, has been named Professor Emeritus at Amarillo College.
Ford was among the first to teach in Amarillo College's English as a Second Language program. Ford was a full time professor at Amarillo College from 1980 until her retirement in 2003. Ford now mentors students at the AC' Tutoring Center.
Ford was a recipient of the Student Government Association’s Faculty Award, and was once nominated for AC’s highest faculty honor, the Mead Award.
The Amarillo College Faculty Senate will be hosting a recep-tion for Ford on Thursday, April 27th. The come-and-go reception will run from 2pm until 3pm in the Campus Union Building.
