Chilean Flag Under Fire at Texas Capitol

A Texas news story is making international headlines after a State Representative has proposed a resolution discouraging the use of the Chilean flag emoji to represent the Texas flag.

According to reports from NPR, Representative Tom Oliverson is supporting the passage of a resolution which states the Chilean flag is "nice but not a stand-in when texting or tweeting."

Although the resolution could be passed, it is mainly proposed for educational reasons, pointing out the differences between the two similar flags.
