Judge Gary Jackson Files for Re-Election

Justice of the Peace Gary L. Jackson has filed to seek re-election to the bench in Potter County.

According to information from the Texas Secretary of State, Jackson, a Republican, has filed to seek re-election to the office of Potter County Justice of the Peace, precinct 3. Jackson is the second incumbent JP to file for re-election in 2018, as incumbent Thomas Jones is also running for re-election in precinct 4.

Jackson has served in the capacity of Justice of the Peace for precinct 4 for several years. In his most recent appearance on the ballot, Jackson won re-election uncontested in 2014.

Candidates have until December 11th to file for a spot on the ballot.
