Kwahadi Museum to Feature Jack King Hill Retrospective

Next year, the Kwahadi Museum of the American Indian will host a retrospective art show featuring the works of Jack King Hill.

It was announced on Thursday that the Kwahadi Museum of the American Indian is planning to host the art retrospective on February 4th at 2:30pm. The event will feature works from sculptor and painter Jack King Hill.

Jack King Hill was an Amarillo-based artist who was renowned for his southwestern artworks. Hill was specifically acclaimed for his bronze statues of Native American leaders. Among some of the most famous works by Hill are the Buffalo sculpture at Kimbrough Memorial Stadium in Canyon and the bronze bust of Quanah Parker that was placed in the National Hall of Fame for Famous American Indians.

Performers from the Lone Star Ballet will also be on hand during the event.
