Fire Destroys Mobile Home in Randall County

In Randall County, a fire completely destroyed a mobile home on Tuesday evening.

On Tuesday night, the Randall County Sheriff's Office reports that crews were alerted to a structure fire at 11800 Elk Road in Eastern Randall County. Crews were told that the structure was completely engulfed in flames.

The Randall County Fire Department responded to the mobile home fire along with mutual aid from Lake Tanglewood, Timbercreek, and Palisades volunteer fire departments. In total, 15 crews worked to stop the flames.

At 10:24pm, the fire was called under control by crews. The structure was declared a complete loss. Also destroyed by the fire was a travel trailer, an outbuilding, and a vehicle.

No person was injured by the fire. A family pet was the only casualty.

The cause of the fire is undetermined.
