City of Amarillo Seeks Residents for Beautification Board

The City of Amarillo is seeking applicants for the newly created Beautification and Public Arts Advisory Board.

According to information released by the City, residents who are interested in serving on the newly created board should apply by Wednesday, January 17th. Residents who are selected by the Amarillo City Council to serve on the new board will provide recommendations to the Council on beautification and public art projects in Amarillo.

Six Amarillo residents will be appointed to the board and the Amarillo City Council will choose one member of its own body to serve with the public arts board. Two other seats on the board are designated for the Amarillo Convention and Visitors' Council and Center City, respectively.

Residents interested in applying for a position on the board can find an application on amarillo.gov.
