Ernie Houdashell to Seek Re-Election

Randall County judge Ernie Houdashell is running for re-election in 2018.

Houdashell, the long time county judge for Randall County, officially filed the paperwork with the Randall County Republican Party this week to run for re-election. Houdashell is currently the only candidate seeking the office next year.

Houdashell has served as Randall County judge for over a decade. In his capacity as Randall County judge, Houdashell oversees all actions of the Randall County Commissioners' Court.

Judge Houdashell's son, Clay, is also going to appear on the March Republican primary ballot, running for Randall County Justice of the Peace in precinct four.

In Potter County, Judge Nancy Tanner is also seeking re-election to the office of county judge.

Candidates have until December 11th to file for a spot on the ballot.

Election day is March 6th.
