Blind Cat Parker Found Safe in Amarillo

Parker, a blind cat who went missing from his owners last week, has been found safe in Amarillo.

According to a Facebook page made to inform the public about the cat's disappearance, Parker was found safe on Monday. The page announced that a neighbor in the area where Parker was last seen, spotted the cat working his way toward home and his owners were able to find the cat safely.

Parker went missing from his owners on November 13th, as he was last seen chasing leaves toward Hillcrest.

Following the announcement, those organizing the effort to find Parker thanked everyone involved in a post on Facebook.

"We are so happy he made it home," the page posted on Monday. "I really want to tell everyone how much we appreciate those who put food and water out and kept watch. It worked and he is home safe because of our awesome community coming together and making it happen!"
