The Houston Astros took game one of the American League Championship Series on Thursday night, over the Boston Red Sox.
In the game, Houston, led by Justin Verlander, put the Red Sox on notice with a big 8-2 win. The game was the first game of the ALDS for the Astros, although it was fifth straight game played against the Boston Red Sox after wrapping up a three game series at the end of the season.
Houston is now leading the series 1-0.
