Amarillo native Aaron Watson headlined a hurricane relief show last week at the historic Ryman Auditorium.
Watson, a native of Amarillo and country star, headlined a show last week at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville to benefit hurricane relief efforts. Watson took the stage with Mickey Guyton, Jim Collins, Leslie Satcher and Jon Wolfe for the show.
The appearance at the Ryman Auditorium, home of the Grand Ole Opry, is not the only hurricane relief show by a country singer in recent months. George Strait recently held a hurricane relief show in Texas with Miranda Lambert, Chris Stapleton, Lyle Lovett and Robert Earl Keen.
Texas A&M University is also planning a hurricane relief event on October 21st that will feature Presidents Jimmy Carter, George H.W. Bush, Bill Clinton, George W. Bush and Barack Obama and country stars Alabama, the Gatlin Brothers, Lyle Lovett and Robert Earl Keen.
