APD: Friday Robbery Investigated

"On December 16th at 1:41 AM, APD officers were dispatched to the Toot N Totum at 1200 North Western Street on a personal robbery outside of the store. The victim, a white male 25, said that he was pumping gas when three Hispanic males in a red two door truck began speaking to him. The males were all wearing black jackets and appeared to be in their twenties. While speaking with the males one of them hit the victim in the face with his fist. A second suspect began to hit the victim also. The third suspect pulled a knife from his pocket and held it up so that the victim could see it. The suspects then took the victim’s personal belongings including his car keys. The suspects left the scene in the red truck and the victim’s white 1999 Ford Explorer. The victim sustained minor injuries, but did not require medical attention. Anyone with information on this incident is asked to call the Amarillo Police Department at 378-3038 or Amarillo Crime Stoppers at 374-4400.
