A new stadium for the Texas Rangers baseball club is slated to open in April of 2020, according to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.
According to the Star-Telegram, the Texas Rangers are planning to hire an architect, before the end of the year, to help begin the process. The Rangers are also planning to begin interviewing various construction consultants, before December 31st.
The Rangers stadium, which was passed by Arlington voters on November 8th, will be mainly funded through various taxes, and 30-year bonds.
