A:

Q: Why did you decide to run for this office in 2022?

A: I believe the crises of illegal immigrants must be solved as well as returning Texas businesses back to pre pandemic prosperity. In addition, property taxes on individuals, as well as businesses, are excessive and unwarranted, due to mismanagement and waste of local Municipalities. This can be addressed with auditing and accountability monitoring.

Q: If elected, what will be your top three priorities in office?

A: Complete an impenetrable wall to stop illegal immigration; Increase compensation for school teachers; Legalize marijuana for use, primarily for pain management , with minimal side effects.

Q: What is an issue you believe has gone overlooked in your race and how will you address it if elected?

A: I want increased compensation for Texas school teachers, who will graduate an Educated workforce, including vocational training, for lifetime skills to gain employment. Children are the Foundation of society and full employment is possible with a skilled workforce. I will use the sales taxes collected on the sale of marijuana to fund compensation of educators..

Q: Why are you the best candidate for voters to support for this position?

A: Educators have been restricted to on line teaching over the past two years, resulting in poor attendance and poorer test scores. With the effectiveness of the vaccine, schools will return to pre Pandemic operations and testing. Also, I understand and care about the economic, health and safety concerns of all Texans. I know the Pandemic has disrupted our economy and caused inflation, possibly resulting in a future recession. This can be solved by allowing businesses to operate as they did before the Pre Pandemic disruptions and mandated restrictions. There is a massive shortage of skilled health care providers. I was a vocational nurse, for 3 years: 1972 through graduation from Terrell high school in 1975. Most small towns in Texas do not have even a local emergency care facility. I would seek to have tuition and fees for medical professionals reduced or subsidized for students who graduate and agree to work in lesser served communities. This would ensure that all Texans, regardless of where they live, would receive adequate and competent health care.
