When voters head to vote in the upcoming general election, the lists of polling places in Potter and Randall counties will look slightly different than they did during the series of elections which took place earlier this year.
In Potter County, the Early Voting locations will be the same as they were in the most recent election, which was the runoff primary election held in May. On Election Day, however, the Discovery Center and Second Baptist Church will no longer be polling locations. A few locations which were not used in the runoff but which were used in the initial primary in March will again be polling places on Election Day. These include Chaparral Hills Church, Diversity Church, Highland Park ISD Admin Building, Trinity Baptist, and the Valle de Oro Fire Station.
In Randall County, Southwest Library will no longer be a polling place for either Early Voting or Election Day. Instead, the Region 16 Education Center on Bell Street will return as a polling place. According to emails obtained by the Amarillo Pioneer, Randall County had been working to move voting back to Region 16 for several years. Another change in Randall County will only affect Election Day, with the Arena of Life Church polling location being replaced by Crossroads Country Church.
