Amarilloans will have the opportunity to view “Kid Candidate” for the first time on Friday night.
On Friday, Pondaseta Brewing Company (7500 SW 45th Ave) will host a viewing of “Kid Candidate,” free of charge. The new film from director Jasmine Stodel focuses on 2019 Amarillo City Council candidate Hayden Pedigo’s unlikely campaign for office and the people of Amarillo who were involved in the election. Thus far, “Kid Candidate” has received rave reviews after premiering at the SXSW Film Festival earlier this year.
The viewing will begin at 9pm, with doors set to open at 7pm.
