New buses are on the way in Amarillo.
On Monday, the City of Amarillo unveiled new buses for the municipal transit system. The buses were unveiled at a press conference at the Amarillo Civic Center Complex, which featured Mayor Ginger Nelson speaking on the updates.
According to the City of Amarillo, the new buses have low floors, no steps, and space for two wheelchairs, among other amenities.
