Regional Music Festival Cancels 2020 Show

The Canadian River Music Festival has canceled its 2020 event.

In a post on Facebook, the popular country music gathering announced it has decided to cancel this year’s festival due to health and safety concerns regarding the COVID-19 pandemic. Those who purchased tickets for this year’s event will receive online gift cards which can be used to purchase tickets for next year’s event.

Held annually in Canadian, the festival has become a popular stop for country musicians ranging from 1990s stars to red dirt up-and-comers. This year’s event was set to be headlined by Parker McCollum and Sawyer Brown.

The 2020 event will be held on May 8, 2021.
