Governor Orders Flags Lowered Following Odessa Shooting

Governor Greg Abbott has ordered flags across the state to be lowered to half-staff until Thursday, September 5th, in memory of those killed in a shooting this weekend in Odessa.

According to the Governor’s Office, Texas flags are to be flown at half-staff through Wednesday. Individuals, businesses, and government agencies are also encouraged to fly their flags at the same height.

Flags should remain at half-staff until sunset on Thursday.
