Public meetings for Conversation: Civic Center – dedicated to the proposal for a new Amarillo Civic Center – resume Thursday (Sept. 19) and Saturday (Sept. 21) at the Amarillo Civic Center Hospitality Room, near Entrance 7.
The public is invited and encouraged to attend the Conversation: Civic Center public meetings.
There are two public meetings for Thursday – 1 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. Saturday’s public meeting is at 8:30 a.m.
The public meetings will include a presentation regarding the proposal, and will provide the facts so citizens can be informed. Public meetings will include members of the Conversation: Civic Center Executive Committee and a guided tour of the Amarillo Civic Center Complex.
Broadcasts of Conversation: Civic Center public meetings will be available live (via Facebook Live) and for future review on the city’s Facebook page. For all the information on the Amarillo Civic Center proposal, go to www.conversationciviccenter.com
