APD Responds to Reports of Person Hit by Vehicle

Amarillo Police have responded to reports of a pedestrian being hit by a vehicle.

According to APD, on September 11, officers were called to the 500 block of Northeast 15th Avenue on a report of a pedestrian being hit by a vehicle. Reports also indicated that shots were possibly fired in the area.

Officers located a male who had been struck by a vehicle and that person was transported to a local hospital. The scene of the incident is reported to be Northeast 15th Avenue, between Birch and Maple Streets, outside of the school zone.

This investigation remains ongoing.
