WT Enterprise Center Accepting Technology Accelerator Applications

An extension of West Texas A&M University, the WT Enterprise Center, has launched the Texas Panhandle’s first ever technology accelerator called WIRE Accelerator.

The network will serve as a launching pad for aspiring inventors to receive mentorship and community through a 12 week program focused on training and industry relations. Additionally, the selected participants will receive $25K in seed capital for development, more than $1 million in perks and a demo day for startups to pitch their company to investors for additional investment.

The WIRE Accelerator program is focused on technology such as artificial intelligence, financial technology, agriculture technology and energy. The accelerator experience is a process of intense, rapid and immersive education aimed at accelerating young, innovative companies and technology.

The program begins Sept. 3 and ends Nov. 22. To apply to become a member of WIRE Accelerator’s inaugural cohort, submit an application here by July 31.
