Amarillo City Councilmembers will consider signing off on a property tax rebate during a meeting next week.
On Tuesday, the Amarillo City Council will consider approving a property tax rebate for Chase Tower, LLC. The proposed rebate would include a 90 percent property tax rebate over 15 years to assist with the conversion of two floors of office space into residential units. The agreement would be for the First Bank Southwest Tower through the TIRZ #1 Zone.
The Amarillo City Council is set to meet on Tuesday at 1PM in the Council Chambers of Amarillo City Hall (601 South Buchanan). The meeting will begin at 1PM following a noon public comment session.
