Just days after capturing four national awards for digital marketing, the Communications and Marketing Department at Amarillo College garnered a windfall of 17 additional awards for its aggregate 2018 marketing efforts.
Among the accolades bestowed on AC at the 34th Annual Educational Advertising Awards – the largest and oldest educational advertising awards competition in the country – are 6 Gold awards; 3 Silver; 3 Bronze; and 5 Merit.
Judging was performed by a national panel that included professional marketing and advertising professionals who culled through 2,200 entries from over 1,000 colleges and universities from all 50 states.
In capturing two of the awards, one Gold and one Merit, the College collaborated with Creative Cannon*, an advertising and creative agency in Amarillo.
