Dr. John Todd Cornett, an Amarillo optometrist, has been appointed to a state board with a term set to expire in 2025.
On Thursday, Governor Greg Abbott announced the selection of Cornett to serve on the Texas Optometry Board. Cornett was selected along with two other individuals to serve on the state board that is tasked with licensing and regulation for optometrists operating in the state of Texas.
Cornett is a managing partner of Premier Vision Services and previously served as president of the Bushland Independent School District Board of Trustees. Cornett is a graduate of the University of Houston.
