The City of Amarillo will be closed Monday in recognition of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.
According to the City, officers will be closed all day Monday in recognition of the holiday honoring the iconic civil rights leader. Transit will operate on a Saturday schedule for Monday, and Monday trash collection will take place on Tuesday.
