The mother of one of three candidates in the race for Texas' U.S. Senate seat will visit Amarillo next week.
Melissa O'Rourke, mother of Democratic nominee Beto O'Rourke, will visit the O'Rourke Campaign's Amarillo headquarters on Wednesday, September 5th. Supporters of O'Rourke are encouraged to come out and meet his mother at the Bowery Warehouse (100 South Lincoln) to find out how they can help the campaign.
Indivisible Amarillo is assisting in organizing the event, according to social media posts.
O'Rourke, an El Paso native, is the Democratic nominee for the U.S. Senate. O'Rourke will face Republican Ted Cruz and Libertarian Neal Dikeman in the November general election.
